Wikis and Wikipedia

A month or so ago Dr. Brophy asked me to check the Marymount College posting on Wikipedia. It has errors and it had mean stuff. I was able to change and register to be notified when other changes were meade. Today I checked it and something wrong was there again. So I changed it. Guess this means I will need to check it periodically to make sure it acurately reflects us.

    Did notification feature work to alert you of another change? I hope so because otherwise it would seem tedious to have to remember to check periodically.

    I think you should be able be alerted for specific pages. In fact, I wonder if you could subscribe to the page through your RSS reader? I will have to check it out. FYI...I might be responsible for a few of the changes as I was giving a demonstration of the problems with Wikipedia by showing how easy it could be to edit the information. Oops! I promise I didn't say anything mean though. :)
