This is so exciting. Entering the blogsphere makes me feel hipper and smarter. I can show my kids that their old school mom can really learn new tricks.
I am having fun learning. Today I expanded my profile on LinkedIn. I am interested in seeing if I can find professional ties to other higher education public relations/marketing/communication people.
I just spent some time looking at Flickr and the many possibilities it offers. I am interested in adding more photos to our College web site and found some great photos taken from our rose garden out to Catalina. It was fun to see that marymount College actually made it to Flickr.
There are a lot of organizations out there experimenting with blogs as a communication tools. One that I can think of that seems to do a good job blending the informal nature of blogging with programatic content is unframed, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
